here's the deal i'm doing a fishless cycle in 29g tank ... i used a piece of raw fish and a decoration from established tank ..so today i take reading
amm .50ppm
nI 0ppm
nA 5ppm
so where do i go from here ? thanks

Good morning
It's not unusual not to have a nitrite reading when you're cycling the way you are.
IMO, just let it ride and keep the bacteria fed.

You've just got more bacteria that convert nitrites than bacteria that converts ammonia.
