Cycle a tank fishless

Ok, this may be a stupid question. I am cycling a tank fishless for the first time. The ammonia is reading 2.0 I know this is a good sign, but do I have to do a water change or just leave it?

Hi, No water changes during the cycle.
If you do a water change, you will be removing some of the ammonia you need for the cycle.
great your doing a fishless cycle!

It's good that you do the fishless cycle method. Since it's fishless, water changes should not be worried about until you finish the cycle. Then you'll just change the water before adding fishes in. Good luck to your tank!

Enjoy this time now, because as soon as fish are there water changes are a constant!
