Hello,
I just want to know if someone has used this product and what do you think about it?
Nutrafin Cycle claims to speed up cycling a tank.

It doesn't work. The bacteria in it are not the right kind and don't survive in your tank for long. So they work for a short time, then die off. This results in 2 things: 1) the true beneficial bacteria colonies you want to grow don't have a chance to cultivate so your tank never really cycles (unless you stop using the product), and 2) you have to continue using the Cycle regularly. The best advise for cycling your tank is to either do a fishless cycle and wait it out naturally, or get a product called Bio-Spira. It is a little pricey, but it does actually work.

Thanks Sean. I cannot find Bio-Spira anywhere around here, and I have looked every fish and pet store for miles around.

Actually I just found out that Bio-Spira is not available in Canada

I've used Nutrafin Cycle before but it just doesn't seem to work. Eventually my tank got cycled with fish with daily water change. I'm also trying to search for Bio Spira but don't seem to be able to find it. I'm currently trying API's Stress Zyme. It's smells like grape. Lol.
