nope not close read about the nitrogen cycle and get your test kit(API Freshwater master Kit) but I wouldnt do fish just yet. ALso a 13" fish will most likely be too big for a 29G tank. Once youve seen an ammonia spike then a nitrite spike then nitrates with both ammonia and nitrites decreasing to zero the cycle will be done and you can add fish. I would NOT suggest following in my footsteps and adding fish right away though.

you need a test kit before you consider getting fish. and i don't think that the oranda you've suggested would be good with the rest of them. and gouramis - get someone who knows about them to suggest what kind and how many. if you choose mollies and guppies, and have males and females, they will breed like rabbits... tho the angels will love the live food.

halibut is absolutely right though, a 13" fish is too much for a 29g tank, imo. please, read about the nitrogen cycle, and research the specific needs of the fish you're interested in... not all 'tropical' fish are well suited to community tanks, or even like the same water parameters.

Welcome to Fishlore!
Some excellent advice above.
About the biggest fish you're going to find that will be relatively happy in a 29g is 5-6", and I'd say closer to 4".
Large fish not only produce a lot of waste, but they also need more swimming room.

welcome!! I hope you have patience, because as others have said, I dont think you have cycled the tank yet...im going on almost 4 weeks of lots of water changes, and now finally some bio-spira for bacteria, and im still not there yet....if ive learned anything here, its be patient, wait until you have ALL the correct readings, amonia 0, nitrites 0, and nitrates 10-20 , BEFORE you add any fish...my poor fellas went thru horrible amonia points because I didnt know about it...goodluck!

Welcome to Fishlore.

It will take a few weeks, minimum, to cycle the tank. A 29g would be big enough for just 2 orandas (20g for the 1st, 10g for each additional) or for a pair of angels and some guppies.
