Finally ordered some Bio-Spira..

.. not patient enough to see if "Cycle" is worth its weight as my friend who has worked at a LFS for 'years' claims it is. Ordered it earlier this evening so should be here tomorrow or thursday at the latest.

Right now we have the 4 guppies that were helping to get things going. Can new fish be put in as Bio-Spira is added(I seem to recall this being o.k.), and can you stock a full house off the bat or is that a no-no? I'm looking at adding 3 julii corys and 3 yoyo's after the Bio-Spira gets in.. then maybe some Killifish... not sure yet.

If it were me I'd put the bio-spira in with what you have now, wait a couple of days, add a few more, then after the end of a week, you could add more. Bio-spira has bacteria, but they still have to have time to multiply to deal with heavier stocking.

Both Yoyo loaches and corys are rather fragile, they should be put in after the tank is fully cycled. Good Luck

Don't use Cycle.. it's expensive water that puts a tank into an endless series of mini-cycles. We wasted 2 months trying to cycle tanks using it.

I love bio-spira. I also don't have the patience any other way. You just add your water, the bio-spira then your fish. It's that easy. Good luck!
