I know there are a few of you who're doing this.
I was going through some of my old records where I cylced my 5g hex using ammonia and seeding it.

A few of you are getting ammonia and nitrate readings but no nitrItes.
I thought you'd find it interesting that I never had nitrite reading.

Well, I think that it was rather fast lol

the thing is that I do have ammonia, still have nitrites... and my nitrates are sky high. I dont know if im ready and should just do a huge water change couse i indeed added too much ammonia in the begining.

Ah, I see, for some reason, I thought you didn't have nitrites.


lol, I meant the thread was short, not the cycle. But, yeah it was a quick cycle. My ten went just as fast.

as of today, my ammonia is 0, my nitrites are way off chart and my nitrates are sky high....
