I'm a little confused about the Nitrates.
Right now my tank is at
ammonia 0ppm
Nirtrites 0ppm
Nitrates 0ppm and
pH 8

Am I supposed to wait until I have Nitrates??
I have a pleco now but does this mean my tank is ready for more fish and completely cycled?

Sounds like it has not cycled yet. How long has the tank been set up? Are there live plants in it?

at 7 days old, i doubt it's cycled. once you have at least some nitrate readings, and 0 for both the others, you can consider it cycled. very surprised you have no ammonia though... are you using strips or liquid to test?

edit - btw... your aquarium info says that you used live rock. i hope that's an error? did you mean gravel? live rock is saltwater.

Ya I kind of figured that. I'm using API liquid test. And your right the rock salt is a mistake.
