Cycling Question

Hi, well I set my 10 gallon tank up and I had a question about cycling it. I have a 26 gallon tank that is already cycled, when I do a water change for my 26 gal can I use that water in the 10 gallon to help cycle it? Thanks for all the great advice!!

The water only has minimal amounts of good bacteria in it so it won't have much of an impact. If you can transfer some substrate or a piece cut from the filter media of the established tank, you'd help the new tank cycle more.

If you added some gravel from the 26 gallon to the 10 gallon it would help.
