Description: Is designed to hang on the back of your tank. Would not suggest this heater, waste of money IMO, can work good for some time but won't waste that long

Pros: very cheap, pay for what you get

Cons: Is not pre-set so it's best to not have fish in the tank when setting the temperature, once set it does not move, the pilot light always flickers on and off and is noisy, does not keep a steady temperature all the time

Fully submergible heater is not much more expensive than this heater, don't waste your money.

Mine failed less than 2 months after buying it. Exchanged for a new one, no problems yet but there have been some temperature fluctuations, expecting another failure.

Mine worked good for awhile but they are sensitive to touch and can change temperature so easily. Maybe their submersible one's are better, don't know but they are really cheap, the HOB ones that is
