Not sure, but what are you using it for exactly?

Acrylic paint is not really water proof, so I don't know that I would trust it in the tank. The only way would be if you put an aquarium safe epoxy over it. I'm not sure what paints are used on aquarium decorations.

Yeah if you were using in to paint the back ground, I would say Spraypainting the OUTSIDE would be your best option. For painting ornaments.... I wouldn't trust it.

Hello PP. I wouldn't recommend using paint on the inside of your aquarium. Just too risky in my opinion.

Only on the outside with caution. Many paints have poisonous compounds in them...the coloring compound. As an artist let me assure you.....be careful. Not deadly to us but not good either....chromium blue....azure green (azurite) very high in copper, etc.

You would be looking for Polyurethane Varnish or Epoxy to be aquarium safe. Acrylic paint is NOT safe for use in the aquarium.
What exactly do you want to paint?
