I just started assembling my first 3d backgroung using styrofoam, cement ect.

First question. Once my Cement is fully cured n hard. Can I use spray paint instead of a traditional paintbrush to paint it. Afterwards, i fully intend to use and epoxy resin to keep any toxins from the spray paint possibly getting into the water. Is there something im not thinking of when it comes to spray paint vs traditional paint. Im thinkin as long as you seal it with fish safe epoxy resin. it shouldnt really matter what you use.
