Hey buddies.


Im switching the gravel out of my 75 gallon tank to sand.

Because i learned sand ( that i kept inside my 30 gallon) keeps everything MUCH clearer. The sand inside my 30 gallon tank is white. But im going to start a mbuna tank, because ive already purchased some Texas holey rock. And i was wondering if my water clarity would be as clear as the white sand, as if I used the same type, but the black coloring.

I used black eco complete sand and my water is crystal clear.

Great.

I really want to go with a darker theme to make the colors of the fish stand out more.

It dosent make sense that the color of the sand should make a difference, i just really dont want to put sand in and have to end up taking it out
