Aquascaping suggestions

Hello everyone!
I currently have a 5 gallon tank that will be stocked with 2 rosy red minnows. Are there any plants they like in particular and is best with them? Do they have to be arranged in a certain way? Do they like hiding spots? Thanks for your time!

What kind of lighting do you have over the tank? That will be a big part of the plant recommendations you get. As far as plant preferences, I don't think fish really care one way or the other. They just seem to like tanks with plants.

I have one light. Are there any plants that you would reccomend for a 5 gallon tank with 1 light?

Above is some information you may find helpful if you haven't seen it.

From my experience, buy cheap low light plants. That way you can afford to make some mistakes along the way and not be put off if something doesn't work. Java Moss, Java Fern, Wisteria, and there are others. Except for the moss which I have not put in, the others are doing well and I've only just bought some liquid ferts to help them along the way.
Anubis plants are good, but are getting more costly - where I live anyway.
Good luck, and of course, post some pics!

Ok, but what kind of light? Incandescent? Flourescent? Power compact? If it's an incandescent light, you probably won't be able to grow any plants.

Rosy reds really are not suitable for a 5 gal. They reach 4 in. and are VERY active. I would try White Clouds instead.

On the profile I read, it said you typed it up. Why does it say 2-3 inches when it should be four? (if that's the TRUE size anyways).
My local LFS doesn't sell white clouds. Are there any OTHER fish I could get that are coldwater?

The info I used in research said between 2 -3 in. Mine have far exceeded that. They are also schooling fish, and much too active for a 5 gal. Zebra Danios can be kept as cool water, why not look into them?
