Pics of my 125 with rock

Got the rock in..Were not done and I'm sure I'll be adding and moving for awhile until I get it just right but this is the general Idea..I'm gonna try to get a few fake plants..This tank is a mbuna tank so they will get dug up anyway...Let me know what you guys think and if I should do anything different..I'm up for anything so all comments welcome. I'll be getting some more rock soon so I'll keep the pics coming. I'm going to be getting some different lights too..The bluish lights, I think that will make a huge difference.

Thats beautiful. Just remember they do dig a lot and will cause rocks to collapse. My cichilds are always doing that. (I do n't want you to end up w/ a busted tank)

Also when you get your cichilds remember to rearrange the rocks between stocking to get rid of territories.
Looks great!

I love it . did your silicon/glue the rocks together?. what type of graval did you use, im planning on using coral sand (cichlid size) but i have heard mixed reviews good for pH but sometimes the cichlids can hurt themselves since its sharp :s. are you puting a background?

Looks awesome cant wait for the fish to be added.

I use the crushed coral and none of my fish have been injured by it. Its working great for my fish.

We put silicone feet on the rocks that are sitting on the bottom..So I'm hoping that prevents the movement of the base...The feet are on the bottom of the tank with sand around the rocks so I'm thinking they can dig all they want and it won't move...I'm hoping anyway..What do you think about it??

Beautiful! There's nothing I love more than a tank full of stacked rocks! I have no idea why, but I just love it!
Where did you get those rocks, btw?

I have hard water right out of my tap so I didn't have to worry about raising the ph...I used pool filter sand..It was super cheap and it's pretty....Right now there is a black backgroud up but I've been looking into the 3-d backgrounds, they are pricey so I'm sure we'll end up with a DIY.

Thanks...I love rocks too!!!...I still have allot to do to it to make it look like I want but at least I got the rocks in!!..lol

Edit:..We got the rocks for free.....They are building a new house not to far from us and our using this rock on the house and the fence..We get all the left overs..I have a HUGE, and I mean HUGE pile of it outside still...These people are spending a ton of money, the fence alone cost them 200,000......But it's benefiting me so..build on.

No doubt..If I had 200,000 it wouldn't be spent on a fence..That's for sure..

If the rocks are for sure secure on the bottom of the tank they should be okay. My cichlds will literally dig until they hit glass.

200,000 for a fence? I could think of better ways to spend that money! Like paying off my house, buying 2 new cars, building an addition to our house, a garage, and a fishhouse... lol
