Good morning everyone. My first batch of snail eggs started hatching last night. It took 16 days. I got a magnifying glass and a flash light and actually saw some coming out of the egg sack. I was worried at first because it appeared that the egg sack had cracked and at one point I thought they might even look fuzzie. Then to my surprise I saw something fall out of it! lol It was a great experience seeing them come into the world. I hope they aren't eaten by my new Gold Fish. They are so small I can't see them in the tank anywhere and there are still a good many in the sack yet to come out from what I can tell.

I have a new batch of snail eggs also about 3 days old.
I hope to have some new photos to share this afternoon.

Thanks folks. Beth 3 of them have yellow shells with dark bodies and 1 has a dark shell with a white body. I'm sorry but my photos didn't turn out well so I'm not going to waste space by posting them.
On a good note, I've asked Santa for a digital camera for Christmas! Yeah! Y'all win! I'll save my 35mm for photos other than my fish and snails.
