Hello.

Well, it's wet, gloomy and raining here in Hootersville. So to perk up my day I bought 1 Chocolate Fantail, 1 Calico Fantail and 1 Red Capped Oranda. None of them are bigger than 2".

on the weekend. I love 'em!
I put these guys in my 26g bow front. After doing more reading on my snails I've decided to leave them in with my Goldies. If I have some baby snails then I'll consider moving some to the 265g. Reason being what I read stated that they do well in temperatures from 65 to 82 but they do better on the cooler side and cooler waters should help them to live longer. It would be just too neat to have a snail for 10 years!
Over the years I've had pretty much every type of Goldie you can think of. Sadly I didn't know then what I know now and lost them to septicemia. It won't happen again I promise you. Thank you Fish Lore!

I went to my local PetCo. They didn't have any Lion Heads but that's ok. I really wasn't expecting them to. I'm happy
(my new Silver Dollars are doing very well in the 265g)
Have a good evening!
Ken
