Hello,
Well, the door finally arrived and was installed past Monday. All that is left is to add the molding around it. After my friend/contractor left here Monday evening, he collapsed. He was at another neighbors house at the time. Come to find out his blood pressure was "very" low and he was dehydrated. He spent 2 nights in the hospital. I spoke to him on Wednesday and he said he would continue work on Thursday (yesterday) and I highly suggested he just rest and take it easy for a few days. He's doing much better and I wouldn't be surprised if he shows today or Monday. There is nothing outside that can't wait a few more days.

Thanks BB. He was doing much better on Wednesday but I haven't gotten to talk to him since. I have a feeling he'll be back here working on Monday.

Good morning. As far as I know he's doing ok. I haven't heard from him since Wednesday. I think he will probably show up tomorrow.
Thanks Tony...I haven't even really bothered with any plants this year other than some calla lily's someone gave me. I have a really nice shade garden that I just had to let nature take its course this year. Over 500 hostas...day lily's galore in certain sunny sections. I hope to get back to it next year. I worked the garden for 10 years...I needed a break.

Hello. My friend/contractor is doing well now. He started working to finish the outside of the house yesterday. Hopefully he'll finish by the end of the week. I've been taking him glasses of ice water out there. It's not too bad today temperature wise 81 degrees, low humidity. ummmm a cool 65 tonight! Time to open the house! Will have pictures before too long!

Glad to hear your friend up and running again. You'll be able to tend to the garden again soon now that you have nothing else to do!

He has nothing else to do? With a 265 gallon aquarium, he can stare at it all day, every day and not view the same part twice in a year Teehee

LOL The aquarium is so much more entertaining the the TV that is for certain. No reruns!

The outside is almost complete. Just one small section of siding to put on and that's it. I have a little bit of trim painting to do outside and it's complete.

I'll have a few things to do to keep me busy for a while. Finish stocking the 265g. Moving my Juvie Bloody Parrots from the 26g to the 265g. (should be interesting) Then I'm going to use the 26g for a quarantine tank for new additions. Once my 265g is stocked then I'm going to stock the 26g again with something. Not sure just what. Too, I'm still waiting for my Aqua Tongs to arrive so I can finish putting in my plants.

Life do you have java moss and java fern in your tank? If so how are the Silver Dollars doing with it? Are they leaving it alone?

Oh, my house is clean! Yeah! No construction dust any more! That's what I did all day yesterday was clean. Too, it was a bit hairy around here to say the least. Now that kitty is shaved it won't be so bad for a while.

Hi Ken. I've got Java fern, but the Dollars don't seem to bother them. Maybe the other plants are tastier. I originally had Java moss in the 60 litre tank, but got rid if it because it was growing so fast. I didn't notice that getting eaten, but the Dollars were quite small then.

I haven't been online too much at work - have been on the road a fair bit, with more of the same this week - our Xmas rush has already started, and it takes me a lot longer nowadays to complete my tasks!
Have been taking my work home, but I've had FL online in the background. I have an interesting thread to start about a client who has a tank - later this evening if I get a chance.
Just cleaning up after having Father's Day celebrated at home today.
