Hi Sabi
very pretty angels there. They have great shape to them!
Your marble looks a lot like mine btw.

This is my pair of angelfish that bred in my community tank (eggs laid on the heater so no survivors). I have since moved them to their own 29 gallon tank.
It's a very bare setup, but seems to be in-line with what I have read on this and many other sites and learned from my local aquarium stores.
They were sold to me as a koi and a marble.
Let me know what you think about the setup and the ID of the angels. I am very new at this, but anxious to learn.

you could try adding some amazon sword plants to the tank, as they will lay eggs on those, they also provide good hiding spots

I posted on my introduction thread but then realized that it really should go here so I thought I would post my pic of my biggest angel. We have had him/her since April or May or possibly June of 2007. Can anyone give me any insight on if he in fact is a he or a she? I personally think he is a he because of the things I have read on here from everyone but then when I look at him I think...Hmm...or maybe he's a she. I would just be so excited to find out. I think he/she is old enough to tell I don't know.
I have 3 other angels that I am trying to get pics of but they are a little smaller and not as camera happy as this one.
Let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance!
Melissa

Well i can say you have a zebra angel. But for telling the gender, you are going to have to wait till they breed to see their breeding tubes.

Thank you Kevin for the advice. I did the best I could (it's not much but ... seems to be working) - I was very worried about live plants in my breeding tank.
The first photo is the revised tank with artificial sword plant. The 2nd is the wigglers on the leaf.
This is the 2nd time they have laid their eggs on the slate and moved the wigglers to the same leaf. Hopefully this time I will be able to get the free swimmers to stay alive for enough time to develope.
