Yes they should be fine..do they get along good? the two may even spawn eggs ...my eye doctor has two fems that spawn once a week but of course with out a man in there, they just eat them

pinoy angels are a new breed created with a dark/black angelfish with the philippine blue gene..http://www.angelfishusa.net/shopcont...noyblue....its not their finnage but their gene's being bred with others..the female pinoy still has the more thick top fin but so will the male..but the male has the distinct bump on his facial area as most male angels do

It could be but without you knowing the gene of the breed, or if you didnt buy them from a reputable pinoy breeder, id not be able to tell

for back to back posts jana, you can just hit the edit button that way it wont take up so much space on the forum

if htey dont get along, the 20 gal tall will not work either..there isnt much space in the taller tanks to call their own....for them not getting along, they would need at least a 40 gal horizontal tank IMO to co exist..then that might be pushing it but with other fish to keep them busy, and heavily planted, it could work

They look a lot like zebra Lace angels I'm not sure this link will work by clicking it, you may have to type in in to use it.

The angels we buy in the chain stores are usually a mixture of different kinds. So it's really hard to say exactly what they are just what traits they are exhibiting
The only real way to get a recognizable pure strain that will breed true is to buy from a reputable breeder. Even then you have to be careful.
My mixed angels are some of my favorites because you never know exactly what the fry will look like.

thanks carol..! your angels are really beautiful i just saw them..! is it possible to determine their gender?? if they both are male or female can i keep them together?? cos wenever i keep them together the black one keeps pecking the white 'n' flares his fins 'n' the white sorta bows his head in front of the black..!

hey carol thanks the article was superb..! they had zebra lace similar to mine in figure3(one dose of zebra and one dose of dark)..mine too has that faded stripes in grey background..!
