welcome to fishlore!! in a 10 gal tank, it wont matter what sex they are...there isnt enough room for them and even as a pair, one could die if you post a pic we can try to help sex them tho!! but checking out craigslist.org in your area will be your best bet to save them both! tons of great used tank deals

it may be the tank size. i would suggest a minimum of 20 gallons for 2 angels. he's probably trying to get his own territory, which can not be done in such a small tank. my angel is quite peaceful towards my other fish, but my auntie had an angel once that killed every other thing in the tank. she then bought another angel as company and it was double the size as the other and it still got it's butt whooped. it depends on their attitude really.

I have 3 angels in my 55gallons...one of my angels really got a beating when the other two spawned..still not confirm if they are a paid cause the eggs turned out to be infertile. Maybe I can too post some pics for identification. Nonetheless the point is that things have calmed down a little after the eggs have all but eaten up.
Try rehoming them to a bigger tank cause 10 gallns will never allow for them to coexist happily

i agree with the other posts, a 10 gallon is just too small, even for one angel. A 20 gall minimum couls possibly hold a pair. As long as it is a 20 gallon tall, otherwise their fins become stunted.
