how many years do angels breed. i have a pair that has bred for about a year every 28 days and now have stopped. any info would be great

Good morning. Fish should naturally spawn or attempt to throughout their entire life span. I don't have angels but I do have elderly fish (8 year old Bloody Parrots) Two of them are attempting to spawn as I type. I don't think you have anything to worry about at the moment. Double check to make sure your water chemistry is where it needs to be. Fish can be very picky about water conditions when it comes to mating. Good luck!

thanks i will double check the water- maybe my test kit is old-

and they may just be resting Good clean , fresh water and high protein foods usually keep angels spawning regularly.
