My Angels Gone Vegetarian?

i have a 3 inch tall angel that eats my plants. i know it's so weird. i thought they were 100 % carnivorous. he/she eats my java moss, my hair grass, my banana plants and my baby tears. When he "poos" the plants come out half digested, it looks like fresh java moss.

any ideas what's happening?

Your angel might have some dietary deficiencies that he is trying to make up for. What do you feed normally? Adding some blanched vegetables to your feeding regimen will make a lot of fish in your tank happy, and it might get him to stop snacking on your plants. (Zucchini, cucumber, lettuce, etc)

There's no need to be rude.
If your computer froze, all you have to do is explain nicely.

Angels will frequently pick at leaves of plants to clean them for spawning, or to eat microscopic critters off the leaves as well as pick at algae. But I have never had them actually eat plants

Lucy, i am sorry, i just had a really frustrating and annoying day that day.

and i feed the angel a mix of tropical and gold fish flakes and frozen beef heart. he also eats bugs that might fall in the tank and he also pecks at the sicking pellets for my bottom dwellers. he also ate a rather large baby guppy yesterday.
