| my first time Ive read here alot and seen a ton of pics of members angels spawning on their outtake filter...ive always giggled thinking "crazy angels will do just about anything to spawn wont they" !!
well tonite at feeding time, heres a pic for what ive found DSC03038.jpg
ive had this pair for a long time and they are on their 8th or 9th spawn..everytime spawning on a huge green silk leaf...so i see them cleaning it and know a few days later, ill have eggs...NOT THIS TIME |

| Wow! That is just too neat. So what will happen now. Will they be viable and hatch? Is it a case of having to wait and see? |

| Lol, that's where my pair used to spawn every time before my male was killed. They are so goofy. Mine had plenty of plants in the tank to spawn on, but for some reason, they liked the intake of the filter better :P |

| its gotta be in the water or something LOL ...I couldnt believe members angels would spawn there..let alone how they do it hahaha...I didnt get to see this action as I had landscapers here all day so was outside most of it...
they are crazy fish for sure..and yes I do get viable babies out of every spawn but I have yet to be able to set up a tank for grow out because of the step daughter maybe moving in...so my fish room is up in the air right now
I have let them be the survival of the fittest until I can get their grow out tank running ... |

| I put the Parrot in the 20 with her/him, and the parrot got the crud beat out of it. I'm beginning to think I have 2 males. The Parrot dropped him breeding tube, and was cleaning the terra cotta pot, but no eggs. |

| Nooo...he/she's going to be playing with the big boys in the 114 gal....
I'm still crossing my fingers that they'll at least attempt to spawn. I have 3 of the juvies in my 55 gal., one that is coloring up & growing a lot faster is still in the 20. |

| here's what I think the angels are thinking when they spawn somewhere other than where we have nicely asked them to
If we lay our eggs on some vital piece of aquarium equipment then the big hand won't come in and kidnap all our babies. |

I've had them lay in the strangest places. The ones in the tank at work just spawned on the heater cord. From the heater to where it comes out of the water. Now THAT I would have liked to see
Looks like good egg formation Shawnie. A nice close patch of eggs. Good luck with them.

| I went to turn off the lights on my tank tonight and look what I found. The first two are from tonight on the intake of the HOT Magnum and the second two pics are from 5-02-09 on a heater. The second pic is looking down at the eggs from the top of the tank. I can't figure out how they did it, and I don't know how well it shows in the tank, but the eggs are sort of in a pile around the rim of the strainer. weird fish lol
They are really bad cell phone pics and I hope I'm not hijacking your thread. I don't mean to I just couldn't resist when I saw them tonight and remembered seeing your pic. |

| Aw, I'm jealous! I want cory eggs... though you know what, I have no idea what sex any of them are. So for all I know I have all males or all females; guess I'll be waiting a long time!
