Hi everyone I just wanted 2 know how you can tell if an Angel is pregnant. 1 of my Angels is fatter than the other and i dont know if its just fat or what. and how old do angels have to be to be pregnant.

The egg laiden angel will have a roundish area near the poop hole (technical terms here).

A pregnant female angelfish has a breeding tube sticking out underneath her belly, and this tube is ROUNDED. A male angelfish getting ready to breed will also have a breeding tube sticking out underneath his belly, only his tube is POINTED - looks like a sharp little point. A mated pair during a breeding time may also appear tense or nervous, and may chase other fish in the tank that get too close to the spawning site (the chosen site which the pair cleans prior to spawning).
