Do Angelfish like squash, cuecumbers and such?

What would you say is a good diet for Angelfish? I have 2 very small ones (just over one inch from mouth to where tail starts).

I will ofcause give them flakes. I saw some Angelfish specified flakes in the store, but doesn't TetraMin do the trick just as good really?

But they need treats too so what do you reccommend?
squash,cuecumbers, mosquito larve, shrimp?.

I don't want to give them any beefheart as it polutes the water so much.

mine are addicted to bloodworms, brine shrimp(seems to be their fav as they chase them) omega one flakes (on my lazy days)n my homeade food which does include beefheart ..the never pick at the veggies i put in tho someone elses might!

I put a piece of squash at the bottom, Angelsfish wasn't interested in it and the Algea eater claimed it as his own personal property. However. I let a little peice float on the surface and the Angels chase it around eating it. Sweet.

Mine loved frozen brineshrimp..That seemed to be their fav.

I think the trick is to give them a variety of good foods. Mine like frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, flake food, shrimp pellets, and algae wafers.
I like tetra crisps. There is way less waste than with flakes.

My angels love thawed frozen bloodworms, but one of them has a strange love of cucumbers and always waits for me to put the slices in for the plecos.

My angels (also quite small still) love bloodworms, flake food, algae wafers and peas. It's funny to watch them sneak up on their "prey" and gobble it down. I haven't tried giving them cucumber yet. I want to try to find an inexpensive fish food recipe, but I'm not sure what to use.
