Hi Skippi. My angels like to lay their eggs on flat slate that is high enough to reach middle of tank. Those tubes should work well though. I had one pair that always laid their eggs on the return jet of my filter.

pretty mommy with a very naughty daddy. she layed eggs today and he followed right behind her and ate all the eggs. very naughty indeed. will have to hope they get it right next time. keep your fingers crossed for me. I sooooooo want angel babies..

They should learn with time In my case it was vice-versa: it was the mom who would eat the eggs! Dad would guard them and try to peck at her if she'd try to eat them, lol. But eventually, she'd eat them all .

Thanks I do hope they learn. Mom is soooo pretty it would be awesome to have leopard babies then I could share with you all... I will keep you all updated on my progress.

I saw a thing that looked like the tip of a pencil in the same area on him that cleo had her breeding tube. I am asuming that that was the breeding tube...

YUP The female's breeding tube is rather round, while the male's breeding tube is more pointed You DEFINITELY have a mated pair. Are they both leopard angels? If yes, you're going to have little leopard babies!

No, I wish they were though that would be awesome. Dad is my large marble, that is if he ever gets it right the turd. : I will let you know if anything happens though. I will try to get some new pics so you can see. plus I got some new stripped loaches, they are sooo cute..
