Fighting angelfish

I've noticed my pair of angelfish fighting. Is this something they do when ready to breed? Do I just leave them alone?

how long have you had them? how often do they fight? and do they do any serious damage?

generally, if angelfish are really in a pair they are inseparable aside from the minor scuffle. generally if they are about to lay eggs they are really aggressive towards the other fish in the tank, not each other.

what size tank are they in and how big are they?

sorry for all the questions but it will help the members figure out whats going on

125 gallons 2 geo***us juripari,2 angels(3 inches),1 balla,1 kribensis,2 leporinus faciatus,1 peacock eel,1 elephant nose, 1 pleco. My angels don't fight all the time it just came out of nowhere.

hmm, if they aren't doing any serious damage to each other then they're probably fine, especially since they normally don't fight. i'd say just keep an eye on them to make sure nothing gets out of hand and no one gets hurt, and they should be okay
