Adding more Angelfish..Bad Idea??

I saw a ad on craigslist...(gotta stay off of their)..for Dime size Angelfish..I really was wanting a pair and I'm pretty certain mine aren't which means I'll have to find new homes for them...or get another tank..Ya know whatever..
Anyway, I know you can add 6 juveniles together and wait to get a pair...But what If I added 4 of these dime size ones with my current two that are half dollar size...

hmm, i don't know if that would work....your best bet if you were to try it is to take the other angels out of the tank, rearrange things, then add everyone back in, but with the size difference i'm not sure if it would work.

oh, and i ALWAYS advice getting another tank

I was thinking that it is too much of a size difference...If one of my bigger guys decides to start picking on the little guys it wouldn't work out..Hmmm...I already have LOTS of tanks..lol..But that's ok..I might pass or figure something else out.

yeah, i'm having a hard time because i want a pair of angels, but i dont want a proven breeding pair ($$$$) i just want them to be a pair!!! unfortunately it seems like the only way i can accomplish this is by getting 6 juvies, but the problem with that is that they are almost impossible to sex, so you'll be extremely lucky to get 3 males and 3 females and even luckier if they all pair off!

Yeah..I wasn't expecting but 1 pair out of 6....I agree...I don't want to spend the dough on a proven breeding pair..If I end up getting these 6 and by chance get two pairs..I wouldn't mind sending you a pair. Just pay for shipping..I don't have room for 2 pairs.

I'm thinking it might be the same guy as this on aquabid..To much the same to be different people..Here is the link on aquabid...If they are the same you can see a pic..He says he has two kinds, it tells you what they are on this link

getting a tank to you might be hard..lol..I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet..I don't want to get rid of my babies....but The bigger one (which i believe is a male)..is awfully mean to my smaller one (what I believe is a female)..I really thought they might pair up but it's a no go......I can't leave them in there or he will just torture her forever...I need to find her a good home or him a good home or both good homes and then get 6 juveniles and start over..I really just wish they would live in harmony and get along but that's not going to happen. I didn't buy these Angelfish my grandma did for me so I had just the two. They are my sweeties though. it makes me sad...Wish I had a couple more big tanks..lol.

yeah i understand....

hmm, actually how would you feel about possibly having to re-silicone a few tanks? i have a five gallon, a ten gallon, and a 20 gallon (with a small crack in the top corner, below the water line though and still holds water, it was in the bathtub for two days), and i don't have the time or the energy right now to re-seal them. i'd send them to you for just the cost of shipping if you want them, unfortunately they don't have hoods or anything but feel free if you'd like them

Thanks for the offer but I have lots of empty tanks right now..lol...I'll set them up one day..They are all 10 gallons or smaller..If I lived closer and didn't have to pay shipping on that twently I'd take it.

Those platinums are SOOO pretty.

no problem, i though about trying to sell them on craigslist, and i posted them, but no response yet.

if your empty tanks come with a hood i'll probably be able to buy one from you (and pay shipping, of course) for the angels if you want me to take the pair if you end up with two

they are gorgeous, arent they! i wish i had a pair of those, and a pair of koi angels and i would be SO happy (aside from everything else i want..........)
