angel with cranky behaviour ?????????? what to do !!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 20 gallon tank , planted with Tropical Hornwort , with heater at 28 celcius.
In it I have 6 angels ( 2 - 4" marble / 1- 2" marble / 2 - 2" silver and 1 - 2" white angel) along with this i have 2 small white shark, 2 golden gowrami, 2 blue gourami, 2 moor and 2 tank cleaners.

My questions:
1. I find lot of aggression between angels , what can i do to reduce it
2. if the aggression among the angels continue will it kill any or can it be ignored ?
3. even the gowrami chase each other often , why is it so ??
4. is my tank a balanced compatible community tank or should i do any change to it
5 .tell me some deatail about the fishes i have in my tank and the care needed

welcome to fishlore !!!

your major issue is your are way way overstocked..only thing going to help is move some of those fish to a bigger tank

angels if paired up, will kill anything around their area
gourami's are another territorial fish
goodluck!

Welcome to Fish Lore.

The name of this thread may not attract members who are knowledgeable about angels.

I deleted your other thread it was a duplicate of this one and a violation of forum rules.

I'm sorry you're haveing problems with your tank.
I don't know that much about angels, other members are, and will be able to help you.

Good luck

Edit: Sorry Shawnie, You posted while I was typing. Thanks for the good advice you gave.

In my oppinion gouramis shouldn't be more than one every 15 gallons. They need to have a territory and in a tank that overstocked with them, they will fight continuously.

Same goes for the angels, but even more. I wouldnt have angels in anything less than 55 gallons (tall tank).

What are the "tank cleaners" and "white sharks"? That information would be really helpful.

Good luck.

Welcome to Fishlore!

I'm sorry about the deluge of bad news here, but:
The moors, if you're talking about Black Moor goldfish, also need a lot of space (30g just to themselves). They also don't do well in tropical tanks, as they are temperate fish (they like ranging temps that average lower than tropical fish).

Well, I'd say that

1. your tank is over stocked

2. you'll need a bigger tank for all of those

3. bigger tanks are mandatory for angels in aggression.

I have a 29 gallon with a few angels now, a 200, and 350 gallon tank, and I have a few altum angels, and a few common ones with my other community fishes, and semi-aggressive/extremely aggressive fishes.

Angels need a lot of space to swim around, and with that you have an advantage. You can have more smaller fishes, and more plants for hiding spots. Especially neon tetras, they can hide a lot in densely planted tanks, and the angels usually have a lot of room to not make so much of a fuss about the other fishes in the tank, so then they can own a part of territory, and the others can have the rest.

PS: I'm not 100% sure about the angels in bigger tanks. I just found out that it's true in my tanks.

So I am about 95% sure. Angels are aggressive sometimes, especially if it is the only on in the tank. That is why I have discus with them, and I'm going to be adding a severum later on, because they are both mean.
