I feel bad

We have a 100 gal 2 year old community tank that we have had a pair of angels (Sunshine & Bumble)in since the beginning. They were total buddies. About 2 months ago we decided to put another pair of equal size in the tank. With in 3 or 4 days one of them died Anyhow the other new one(Callie) has become best friends with one of the old ones(Sunshine) and alienated the other(Bumble). They pick on him and kind of shut him off when he gets near. Now there is plenty of room for all but I feel bad for him. What show we do?...........Should we get a few more?? Any Ideas??

You could try some more Angels or move him to another tank if necessary.

A few more angels should spread the aggression around a little.

What's sad about it is that these two used to be a COUPLE! that community tank has had its ups and downs, but they were from the original set of fish and they always stuck together and protected eachother from any other aggressors in the tank. then when we brought home the new ones, after Lemon died, Cally took over Sunshine and they beat up on Bumble and he has to stay on the other end of the tank or they both poke at him.

Here's a pic of Bumble and Sunshine in Happier Days, before their DIVORCE!
(well i couldn't get my pic to attach, let me send it to rick and have him attach it.....sending downstairs....)

That's so sad. I don't know anything about angels but can you move the new girl somewhere else and get her a man of her own?
Good luck to you.

Unfortunately if you have dominant female she will always be dominant. My Angel was the queen bee in our 120g with 12 other fish. All were female except 3. I'd add more but make sure you have pairs. A lone of either sex does cause some issues.
