Will Angelfish eat cardinal tetras? I've got a 2 foot by 2 foot so they'll go pretty big and I know they eat neons

if they are a pair, they have a way of attacking alot of others if they spawn...at 1.5 inches, the cardinals mite be a snack...what size is your tank and do you have alot of hiding places?

They could eat them, most likely if they've paired up, but usually I think they'll not bother them.

Ive kept cardinals with my Angel fish and still do. They dont bother them and the Angels are a little over a year old now..
Only problem I had was when I first introduced the cardinals into the water. The angels thought they were food and bit a few of them and killed them. After that, no one bothered the cardinals and they have been very happy ever since. If you introduce them to the tank, maybe feed the Angels real good first. and have your net handy to scare the Angels away from the cardinals. In a few minutes they do settle down. Just the initial meeting you have to be careful of.

I believe, generally if they grow up with small fish they tend not to eat them, and if the smaller fish are fast they probably wont catch them.
I think i'm the only one who had the neons against the angels,lol! They nipped my poor 'un fins.
