i would like to know the perfect ph for angelfish

Hello,
the PH range for Angel fish is between 6.0-8.0. It is a wide range for sure. I personally believe that they prefer a lower PH and acidic/soft water. My angels have been doing great for 7 months and I havent lost one yet. My Ph in that tank is 6.4 and the temperature is 82*.

Keep in mind that stability is better than perfect numbers. Even if your pH isn't perfect, it's not good to try to change it with chemicals which will cause the pH to fluctuate and stress the fish. The fish store probably has a similar pH as your water anyway so the fish will already be adjusted to your local water.

I have kept and bred Angels in ph that was 7.4. As 0morrokh said the stability of the ph is more important than perfect ph.

our pH is 7.6 and we have a happy Angel in our cichlid tank.
