My poor angels fins!!!

Oh no my 2nd angels fins are ripped and chewed But i got rid of my loach and it isn't heeling what is going on i have one cory, 2 zebra danios, 7 neon tetras, a flame gourami, and 2 lovley angel fish. The one who's fins are nipped is a marble but my other one's fins are perfectly fine

I'm guessing it's the gourami -- most folks find they don't get along well with angels.

What size tank are they in?

yea, my guess it the gourami too. but the danios might be nipping a bit also, with just the 2 of them.. hard to be sure.

It could also be the neon tets.

I always thought neon tets were angelfish food. Maybe they've been telling the angels to back off.

lol, small angels + adult neons can = to nipping. At least thats what happened to me.

Hi Angel man...
Its my guess that it is the gourami as well. If it is happening quickly that you are seeing the rips and shredded fins, I would imagine the gourami doing that kind of damage. I think it would take the neon tetras a bit longer to produce that much damage. I also think that Angels and gouramis do not get a long very well.
Good luck in finding the culprit!!!

The fin nipping didn't happen until i got my yo yo loach but i then found out he was the culprate so i returned him so it wasn't the Gourami, Neon tetras.
