Angelfish Q's

How big do angelfish get and how long does it take for them to get that big?

Also in a 30G tank I was planning to have 2 Angelfish, a pair of Bristlenose plecos and 5 or 6 Cherry Barbs. I was wondering if it would work to replace the barbs with some Kuhli Loaches. I duno why but those things are just awesome =).

Lemme know

Three or four Kuhlis(the more the better), two bristlenose, five or six cherry barbs and a pair of angels would be awesome. Lots of plants and places to hide would be necessary for the Kuhlis and Cherry Barbs and a small piece of wood for the BN's.
I would put the angels in last so the others can get used to the tank and claim territories. If the Kuhlis are tiny like they are prone to being at the LFS I would let them grow a bit(a couple of weeks) before the angels go in so they don't think the Kuhlis are food.

Yeah that should work.
Angel's body's get about the size of the palm of an adult human hand.
It takes them several years to get to this size.

I got mine at about the size of a nickel, and they very rapidly grew to about the size of a silver dollar, but at that point their growth really slowed down. I was glad to read Dino's post, 'cause I was getting a little curious myself!

I think ours is a little over 1/2 his full size. If you get barbs, i'd get the 6 and watch them as they may find the angels fins tempting to nip at.. i think a few Kuhli's would be better too.
