Your opinion

This is Fire-Head, what do you think he is male or female?
Some of you may be able to tell with the 'bump' on the head. Just let me know what you think its more likely to be. From his prev behavior i think 'he' is a male but since i'm getting a tank to breed and will be putting him with 2 others that have shown interest in him i want to see what other ppls opinion is.

It's hard to tell unless you see their breeding tubes. I have found that the male foreheads seem rounder. I am hoping my black angel is a male too. My zebra and silver are both females.

Exactly. Without examination of their tubes, there is no way to be really sure.

Some very mature males may get a hump, but others may not.

If that's a breeding tube under the fish's belly, then it's rather large (the picture isn't very clear so it's hard to say). Larger and rounder breeding tubes are in females, and males have small and pointed breeding tubes. So I voted it's a female (if I am seeing correctly).
