I recently Purchased an Angelfish and noticed the one bottom fin is shorter than the other, and the he is swimming somewhat on his side. Does it have something to do with the fin, or is he sick, ect..... I need some help with this... I have 2 platies, and 2 Rainbow Sharks HELP!!! What do I do

...is he eating okay? Does he seem lethargic or just a little crooked? Is his interaction in the tank normal or is he shy and alone? I'm not as knowledgable as some but aren't fins kinda like the wiskers of a cat...used for balance and feeling? if so, hopefully the fin will grow back and all will be well. I had the same thing w/an angel but it didn't seem to be enough loss to throw off balance.

How large is your tank? What are your Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate readings? Exactly how long have you had this Angelfish?
