Tall Tank a Must??

Do they HAVE to have a tall tank? I have a 30 gallon, I just measured the height and from the bottom of the tank to where the top of the water line should be is almost 15"...is that tall enough?? Thanks!

Re: Tall Tank a Must??

For anges to do their best and feel confortable, I would not keep adults in anything less than 15 inches tall.

I would say that is high enough to support them. But like always, the taller the better. But just do what you can and they should be fine.

Re: Tall Tank a Must??

This is just my opinion, but if you can get a taller tank, then do so, but if not, the angels will be okay. I have 2 in a tank that fight and thought I would have to separate them by placing 1 of them in a 20 gal. long. The person I got my angels from breeds them, and said the angel would be fine in that tank. So I take that as, taller is better, but if that's not possible, they will still be okay in a shorter tank.
