hello and welcome to fishlore!

I have two angel fish myself and at one time they were in the 29g with other fish. when my rainbow platys ended up dead and the other fish scared and staying in corners or behind plants i knew that there was a problem. It may have been just one of the angels that was causing it or both. I only witnessed one of them ramming fish from time to time. I moved the two to a 10g tank by themselves for the time being. They have another 29g that will be set up soon for them. My suggestion would be, that if these two are getting along in your tank, I would not add another. Just watch for any aggression towards your swordtails from the angels. Angelfish are cichlids and that species can be semi aggressive to each other and other tankmates. For myself, Im keeping these two angels by themselves and not going to take any chances adding any other fish with them. Just watch how your two angel fish behave towards each other and you will know what you should do. If you find any aggression towards each other, I dont think getting another angelfish will stop it, it will just give it another angelfish to pick on. I think if you find that the two are fighting with each other, then I would IMO bring the aggressor back, leave the peaceful one in the tank. Maybe you will be lucky and have two that are going to get along fine with each other, as my two are. Good luck with your angels!

PS... just re read your post and I see that you did get a third angelfish. Well for now, they may be young and will not be territorial or become a pair yet, but at some point two will pair off and the third will be harrassed. You will have to watch, wait and see, and take action at that time. Maybe for a few days you can watch to see which two get along the best and then bring back the third one to your
