Ive been reading about fish disease a lot today and my coral beauty has one kind of large slit and two very small slits in its back fin would you consider this as a frayed tale? and could be an early stage of some kind of ich or other fish disease ? is everybodies coral beauty thats a memeber here have a perfect tail? everything checks out perfect with water conditions she did have this when I first got her and just noticed when I finally put her in the main tank she eats very well swims all the time acts like a normal happy fish

as long as there s no fungal growth your fish should be ok ich dosnt damage tails its white spots (parasites) within the fins and body ,
the frayed tail was probley done before it was caught how long have you had ?
a lot of the time they will grow back as long as they dont get infected everything should be fine

there is no growth so it must be all good lol do you have an answer for everything your the only one that wants to help me out with my threads

no not everything and there arnt that many sw peeps here but i will help you if i can and if i cant theres always google and my mate up the road whos taught me as he has been doing sw for years

it was a fungus I was able to treat it in one day
