unfortunatly when they mature they lose those blue vertical stripes and turn a bright orange color. Still beautiful but not with the 3.4k

How very deceitful of them to be using that photo to sell them at such an outrageous price. Gorgeous fish, but what a terrible business ethic.

A lot of the older Angels change colors. And retailers always use the juvi colors as the selling point.

That is a nice fish though, not worth that price but...heh.

You have to also remember that they are also very rare and hard to get legally. So a collector with the money will buy it. :-) also look up Gem tang

Keep in mind, this was off of their "Diver's Den" site, which is specifically advertised as a "what you see is what you get" proposition. They picture the actual speciman you are buying, not just using a generic stock photo. So, they HAVE to photo the fish as it is now...not what it will look like a year from now. Anyway...I was just floored by the pricing. I really enjoy the hobbie and all, but I can't see paying anywhere near that much for ANY fish. How ticked off would you be if that sucker died on you a month later?

I'd be upset... but not surprised in the least. That would be EXACTLY my luck.
