I have never really attempted an anemone before, but thought I'd give it a go. picked up a RBTA. Had it 2 weeks. Was eating great never moved from its original spot. It was open and extended nicely. For 2 days now it looks really depressed with a dark discoloration to tentical roots-tips still rose colored. It is responsive to stimuli as I see its tenticals react to copapods swimming in tank. Only thing different...i noticed one of my peppermint shrimp poking around at it the other night, but wasnt that bad. Lighting: MH, Amonia: 0, nitrite: 0, excellent current Temp 78, 180 gallons What do you guys think?

In case anyone cares, it started to perk up. I guess it was purging

This is normal for an anemone. Inflating and deflating. Do you have any pictures ?

I will try to post some, but it looks fully infated now! It was black for while (almost a week and a half) really freaked my out!
