Anemone Help

I've purchased a condylactis anemone two days ago and he moved around in his little 'section' but now he is facing the back of the aquarium, almost hiding. I was just wondering if this sounded normal. It doesn't seem to be moving much either. Hopefully once I get the food today for him he'll look a little better.

Normal behavior for a new anemone. Just keep an eye on him the first few day. Try to feed him raw 1/4" uncooked shrimp pieces or silversides.

Sorry I'm not very good at foods by that would fozen brine or algae work? Also I have marine ich would that have anything to do with it although parasites stick to the fish.

Frozen brine shrimp isn't that nutritional for an anemone (or fish). Try to buy some mysis shrimp and gently shot it at the anemone with a turkey baster.

HI I have an anemone, long tentacle, in my 20 gallone tank with 5 clown fish and 1 blue damsel. the anemone seems unhappy?? I am noticing small white specks on 2 of the tentacles. Is this something I should be concerned about? I am super new to this saltwater tank, have had the anemone about 2 weeks now and have not fed it.....sorry I didn't know what to do? Can anyone give me some advice ??

White specks ... not sure. Do you have any pictures ? How big is it ? These anemones get BIG ! To big for a 20 gallon. Are you sure it's a LTA (long tentacle anemone) ?

How old is the tank, and is it cycled? Your aquarium info may just be dated, but it shows that the tank is only 2 days old and that you don't know about the nitrogen cycle or what your parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate) are. Some of your problems could easily be related to that. Also, what kind of lighting do you have on the tank?

Maybe it is a bubble tip anemone ? He is a bit large than a golf ball with a long stem. I will try to get his picture to post here later today. I did get some frozen krill from out pet store and gave him a small piece of that which he readily took. Still the little white specks are very evident.
