With a new tank setup how long should i wait till i put in a anemone ?

They say six months ! Tank must be very stable. Your lighting must be very good also, T5 or Metal Halide. What kind of anemone did you want ?

With T5 you'll be fine ... The six month rule also has to do with experience of the hobbyist ! What kind of clown fish do you have ?

not got one yet as tank not set up till i move house, but looking for a ocellaris. (nemo)

i know 3 good places around where i live ocelarris cant be that hard to find one of my lfs has an juvenile emperor angel fish which is The most attractive fish.

also dwarf flame angel fish which are really cool

The ocellaris (nemo) clown might host a bubble tip anemone ... and it might not. Their natural anemone is a carpet anemone (stichodactyla gigantean), which many consider a high maintenance anemone. That's why I chose a maroon clown. Their natural anemone is a bubble tip anemone.

is it posible for anemones to get sick and die if they eat another baby anemone? my long tent. ate a baby bubble and a few monthes later he died.

IMO ... Yes ! There is always a little chemical warfare going on between anemones of different species. Though I have not heard of one eating another. The bigger stronger anemone usually wins in the long run.
