Well, I decided to try again with another ADF..
This one has a whole different personality... & is great.. I got it Saturday & it hid for a day... came out yesterday & ate great... last night it was sitting ontop of the thermometer, just hanging out.. for a long time.. so I mover the thermometer a little, & is quickly swam to the bottom & I moved the thermmeter down in the water a little more.. about 15 mon later... it was not only back on the thermometer.. it was on the SIDE of the glass (inside ... but hanging on to the side, nice & happy... today several times has been hanging out on the glass, then swims to the bottom & hangs out or hides... later... back on the therm. or glass.... Is this OK?? I thought these only came up for air, I didn't know they could stay completley out of the water.

Frogs are amphibians, which means they live in and around water. I bet that if you put a solid floating object on the water that he may come out of the water periodically, but unless I am grossly mistaken (I know Dino or Butterfly could correct me if I were. ) then the frog is just a lazy lil frog. Everything should be fine.
