I read in an article that during breeding, the sajica female does most of the egg-watching and the male guards the general area etc.. but mine is reverse.. wondering if this is normal..

i assumed it was ok as my convicts bred the same way. just slightly doubtul now.

also, wanted to know if anyone has any good recommendations for high protein fry food?

ive read they are close cousins to the cons and if so, that is normal for both to take turns

the old ones from the first spawning were not successful. obviously because of inexperience i guess.

anyway, does anyone know how long before hatching.. its been about 3 days..
