new fish

hey everyone got some blue rams today i put them in with the discis 50g , i got some chiclids aswell convicts and jewels i put them in with the blood parits 110g will have some pics soon

Rams are wonderful! Congrats on your new purchase. I would warn you about the jewels.. you may find them very aggressive. I had two and had to return them. They attacked all my fish and took chunks of fins out of them and made everyone nervous. They sure are beautiful fish tho... I can see the attraction, as was when I bought them. I will never keep jewels in my tanks again.

hi shawnie i see u have ocsars , i was thinking of getting some but would i have to keep them on there own because they can get aggressive .if so that means a new tank !

dee, jewles are way more agressive than oscars...at least from what ive read...my oscars eat anything that fit in their mouth, but arent agressive...they are like a huge newfoundland dog LOL totally lazy but like to eat..and as far as a new tank, MTS hits us all eventually

hey capekate thanks for the advise i didnt realise that they were so aggresive ill keep an eye on them ,i got 2 other cichlids not sure what they are ill have some pics of them in the morn

do u think oscars would go with blood parits 61/2" and gold severums ,convicts ?
