Algal overgrowth...impossible to remove HELP

Hi All,

We are experiencing sme MAJOR algal growth in our tank at present. It's a grass green colour and the majority of it is growing on the glass, I think our pleco is taking care of the growth on the rocks. I bought one of those alga scrapers from our LPS but it is IMPOSSIBLE to scrub off. It's really beginning to annoy me as our tank is looking like it is not being looked after.

Thanks

L

Good morning. What type of algae scrubber are you using. I get those stubborn spots on occasion and I use my rough sponge on a stick, scraper. It takes a little effort but it does the job.
Ken

I've moved your thread to the "algae" section of the forum for more respones. Thanks!
Ken
