Ok I think I might have beard algae guys I'm not sure but it looks brown black and is growing on my live and fake plants now. I'v cut back on light and am dosing no ferts anymore. Whats the best way to get rid of it if it is. It's stringy and black to brown. Do I have to do the overdose of the certain type of ferts that's what I'v read before.

Ive got some and even with algae eaters and me removing it, and less light and more water changes it wont go away! Its a Pain!

I'v read that overdosing of a certain fertilizer kills it j-man that's what I'm trying to find out where it is. I'll tell you if I find it.
