hey well for sometime I been having the Spot algae and brown algae problem in my 20 gallon. yesterday i got crazy and like picked all the leafs with algae on them and throw them into the bin. The Spot algae isnt to much of a problem because its mostly on the glass and can be cleaned but the ones on the leafs (brown algae) are getting on my nerves. Today when I was checking up I saw that some of the algae started growing again mostly spotted tho, and i have like a bristle nose and also two medium sized mystery snails who I purchased for this problem and they dont seemed to be doing there job what can I do?

I've been getting algae growth latetly too.

And I saw it only on one of the plants: on the back side of the leafs on a Java Fern. Not sure how they're called, but they started small, then grew to about 1/2 inch (1 cm circa.) and it's like a brown hair. I tried to remove it from the plant but it's stuck really good, so I did a bit of damage....

Is this due to low lighting (I have about 0.6 Wpg right now) or just due to the new plant that I've bought, and maybe came with it?

I don't have fresh water parameters...

Please help.
