what the heck is this?

it's only on my glass and on some of my plants. What is it algae or what? I can scrape it off with the end of my gravel vac.

my nitrates are only 5ppm.

my light is on from 9am to 10pm.

Diatoms is what it looks like. Diatoms are silicate-based life forms, basically like algae, just a silicate based lifeform rather than carbon based. They will go away on their own after a few weeks, or you can keep cleaning them off. They are no big deal, really, mostly just aesthetics. (Means either your tank is still cycling, or you're having a major chemical imbalance problem (such as phosphates).)

NO-2 0ppm
NO-3 0ppm
NO-4 5ppm

I i do not have a phosphates test kit. I feed omega one flakes not the color one.
Is there any thing i can do?

Decrease the amount of food going into the tank and double your waterchange frequency with the same % done each time. It is awesome that you are using Omega One, that is a very good brand of food.

The waterchanges should be kept at a higher frequency until the possible diatoms go away. (pretty sure they are diatoms, but it is very difficult to be 100% on anything from pictures. )
